CORPORATE HISTORY
2005 – Pales was founded by Berkin Imer as a local engineering company in Istanbul, Türkiye.
2006 – Pales supplied engineering services for Türkiye’s first biodiesel plant.
2007 – Engaged in engineering works for over 20 biodiesel facilities in Türkiye and internationally.
2009 – Registered the company’s trademark under its current name. Initiated the provision of technical and financial valuation services for national and international financial institutions.
2010 – Participated in Türkiye’s first major renewable energy and energy efficiency financing project. Developed projects for Türkiye’s first single type of animal waste in biogas plants.
2011 – Engineered Türkiye’s first large-scale biogas plant project.
2012 – Emerged as one of the sector’s foremost companies, contributing to the evaluation, preparation, and implementation of over 100 energy efficiency projects.
2013 – Developed and provided engineering services for Türkiye’s largest-scale biogas plant project.
2015 – Berkin İmer assumed ownership of 100% shares, initiating a strategic expansion of the company and its fields of activity.
2017 – Designed, built, and operated one of Türkiye’s largest biogas-to-electricity facilities, Tire Biogas – 4.8 MWe.
2019 – Established Pales Technic Inc. to oversee the operation and maintenance of biogas and biomass facilities in Türkiye.
2021 – Signed a cooperation agreement with Sumitomo Corporation, establishing an investment partnership in the Turkish biogas market.
2022 – Forged a collaboration with Hitachi Zosen Inova for the decarbonization of the Turkish Energy Industry (Details).
2023 – Joined forces with Enerjisa during a due diligence and valuation activity before the joint acquisition of a biogas facility in Türkiye.
2023 – Collaborated with Sumitomo Corporation in a due diligence and valuation activity before jointly acquiring a biogas facility in Türkiye.
2024 – Teamed up with Kanadevia Inova (former title: Hitachi Zosen Inova) to work on the development of biomethane projects in Turkiye.
2025 – Development of district heating projects and sales of gas engines activities has been started in Uzbekistan. 2 units with 2,5 MW capacity each and a total installed capacity of 5MW was sold to one of the leading companies in the textile industry.
